Update!

Hey Everyone! We're sorry it's been such a long time since we've updated our blog.

Amber and I have been doing so well out here. It seems we have just been blessed in every way possible, thank you so much for your prayer.

Right now, Amber is teaching Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at an English school in Fuuchu and she has a couple of English conversational lessons as well. She's been quite busy lately, but she's been doing very well.

I teach on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and have a youth group on Saturday night. We both assist in church activities on Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and all day Sunday.

Amber and I both have Japanese lessons on Monday and Friday for an hour and a half. It can be pretty intense! They like to use the immersion method - by far the most effective, but also really hard sometimes.

The church in Tokorozawa has been taking complete care of us. They have been helping us get settled in...in every way!

We've done a lot of fun things here so far, including going to the big cities, going to the zoo and finding all sorts of different things along the way.

Please look forward to more posts soon!

This is a super big porcupine. I was really amazed at how big it was. I thought they shoot their quills, but they don't :D

These are a bunch of penguins, they can swim super fast. They are all lined up and excited about feeding time. They waddle pretty funny too. I like the loner off to the side.

This is a red panda, I think. It is pretty small and super cool looking. It looks like something out of Kung Fu Panda. Probably is.

This is a wolf, it was pretty big. It is also Tokito's favorite animal, I think.

There is a park that used to be a military base. It is so beautiful. It's a gigantic park filled with greenery and giant trees and beautiful flowers, places for sports, fields, courts, you name it! I went running here today on their AstroTurf track. I couldn't run the whole thing - not yet at least. It's a long track that winds through most of the park.

We went to a city called Akihabara, it is kind of like nerd paradise, or just short of it. This is a Gundam, people climb in them and go fight stuff. It isn't real.

This was a pretty big display of a dragon thing, I thought it looked cool, so I took a picture.

We saw the World's smallest girl here. She's 1 foot 11 inches.

This is Shibuya, the most busy intersection in the world.

Another picture of Shibuya.

Random crazy picture. Lots of huge advertisement TV's.

These are some random people that we accidentally took a picture of. This is the largest temple in Tokyo - I think.

Look forward to more posts!
